Where My Story Telling Began

A selection of short films written, produced, and created by me during my undergraduate program at UC Berkeley. Exploring personal storytelling, emotion, lived experiences, and various cinematic styles and concepts.

Inspired by a life-altering experience within my family, this film explores how moments of uncertainty can reshape perspective and deepen appreciation for everyday life.

A short film I produced while studying abroad at USYD in Australia. Set in a dystopian world, the story follows a character trapped in a room with no escape. Her only sense of freedom comes through her dreams, where she experiences the world as she has always imagined it. Each time she wakes, she is faced with the harsh reality of her confinement, deepening her feeling of nothing is in her control.

A lighthearted travel film documenting my trip through Tasmania, using varied filming techniques, pacing, and color editing to create a joyful visual narrative. This piece reflects my interest in turning real experiences into cinematic storytelling. Shot on a Pocket Cinema 6K.
